Excavation works
Excavation is the process of moving earth, rock or other materials with tools or equipment. It is the preliminary activity of any construction or mining project. Each processes requires unique techniques, tools and machinery to get the job done right.
Our qualified and experienced team can manage every aspect of the excavation process, including clearing land, excavating rock and managing bulk earthworks and landfill in preparation for construction. We offer bulk excavation services that involve removing, moving or adding large quantities of soil or rock from a particular location to another.
Below are some of the major excavation works that we undertake,
- Earthmoving
- Trenching
- Excavation
- Landscaping
- Tipping
- Rock Breaking
Surface Mining ..
The two major categories of modern mining include surface mining and underground mining. Currently we are performing Surface mining activities at major Coal & Iron Ore mines in India. Surface mining is a form of mining in which the soil and the rock covering the mineral deposits are removed. It is the other way of underground mining, in which the overlying rock is left behind, and the required mineral deposits are removed through shafts or tunnels.
Over 90% of the mining activities in developed countries adopt open pit methods [5]. In large open pits, the orebody is usually found relatively close to the surface (thus ensuring overburden–to–ore ratios suitable for profitable mining operations) in sub-horizontal or slightly inclined deposits.
We are specialized in removal of overburden including blast hole drilling, blasting, excavation of various rocks/soft earth cutting of OB strata (consisting of top soil, alluvial soil, rock etc), loading & transportation, dumping in dump yard, dozing, grading, leveling at dump sites including face & other specified places, making & maintenance of haul roads & dewatering of working faces due to seepage from underground water including rain water and much more.
Overburden handling has important impacts on surface mining projects and has to be carefully planned considering both mining activities and site rehabilitation. Especially in Coal mines, removal of overburden plays a vital role and directly impacts the efficiency of the project. Overburden handling activities start at the beginning of the mining project, when a huge amount of material from initial underground development or stripping is removed for site preparation.
We are very good at choosing reliable, cost-effective, and high-performance transportation solutions that allows miners the flexibility and scalability to drive overall productivity and efficiency. We are always focused on incorporating more energy-efficient technologies and advanced safety features from leading mining truck manufacturers to support the demands for enhanced safety, efficiency, and sustainability in mining transportation.
